It’s about that time of the year in Florida when the fishing explodes.  The last two weeks have been great. We’ve caught a ton of fish along with some grandes, which is always nice. The shiner bite has been consistent and unbeatable. However, the lure fishing has been getting better in the headwaters.  The Stickmarsh has been blown out by the north winds this last week.  It should start cranking them out in a few days. If it’s windy, throw moving baits. If it’s calm, break out the plastics, slow down and pick it apart.

I have 3 days left available in March and 2 in April. I’m looking forward to busting up a few more hawgs in central Florida before I go chasing smallmouth!
