A Rough Start to the Fishing Season – but things are looking up!

After some brutally cold weather this month, fishing is looking up and the bigs have begun to bite! Bass fishing on the Headwaters and the Stick Marsh is starting to get good…  Shiners have been the ticket, but I expect the lure bite to improve with warmer water.  The crappie fishing is getting back on as well. Many of the local lakes are producing quality fish and numbers. As usual, minnows catch a bunch and so has jigging.
